January

College Baseball

America's favorite pastime starts cracking in January and runs through June. Our Florida Atlantic University Owls NCAA baseball team plays exciting games all season long.

Los Olas Art Fair

This outdoor art, food and music festival held every year on Los Olas Boulevard is so popular that the city calls for February and even March encores of the Los Olas Art Fair.

Orchid Show

Anyone with a passion for flowers will delight in this massive showing of these gorgeous and delicate flowers. The Orchid Show is presented every year by The Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society.

Gulfstream Park Thoroughbred Racing

Thoroughbred racing, concerts, dining and a wide array of entertaining events are held at Gulfstream Park every January through April.

Florida Renaissance Festival and Crafts Village

Kids and adults alike will love the fun of jousting knights, medieval food, ancient crafts, games of chance and all the good times that come along with the popular Florida Renaissance Festival and Crafts Village.

Collectible Glassware Show and Sale

For the past thirty years, The South Florida Depression Glass Club has hosted this wildly popular exhibition of vintage china, glass and pottery. Collectors will especially treasure this chance to see rare works of Americana up close.

Chili Cook-Off

This isn't your neighborhood Chili Cook-Off. Virtuosos from all corners of the country descend at Broward County's C.B. Fat Tuesday on Hollywood Beach

Laissez les bons temps rouler South Florida-style with Fat Tuesday on Hollywood Beach. Held at Hollywood Beach Theatre and Harrison Street, traditional celebrations feature a parade, live music, gumbo contest and a whole lot more. Call 954-921-3404.

Orange Blossom Festival Parade & Rodeo

Major League Baseball
